Three Women’s Business Owners Group Members Make Top Women-Owned Business List in Orange County
Women Leaders of Hydraflow, Global, a 1st Flagship Co., and Casco Make Orange County Business Journal’s ‘The List’
Three members of the national Women’s Business Owners Group were named top women-owned businesses in a new listing by one of Southern California’s leading business journals.
The Orange County Business Journal, publishers of “The List of Women-Owned Businesses,” named women-owned businesses Hydraflow, Fullerton, Global, a 1st Flagship Company, Irvine, and Casco Contractors, Irvine, among the county’s top female-led companies.
All three women-owned businesses are founding members of the Women’s Business Owners Group (The Group), founded by Family Enterprise USA (FEUSA).
The Group is a coalition dedicated to highlighting and addressing the unique challenges faced by women-owned businesses in today’s economy. Women-owned businesses employ over 12.2 million employees nationwide, according to recent research from Wells Fargo.
Hydraflow, a $131 million business led by Cindy Ayloush, Chair of the Board, designs and manufactures low pressure fluid transfer components for commercial aerospace, defense, and high technology industries.
Global, a 1st Flagship Company, a $90 million business, is headed by Chief Executive Officer and President Sherri Bovino, and specializes in maintenance and repairs for the United States Navy’s surface ships, submarines, and inactive ships.
Cheryl Osborn, founder of Casco Contractors in 2000, oversees Casco’s $47 million operation, one of Southern California’s top construction companies known for its EV charging station solutions.
Women-owned businesses represent nearly 40 percent of all U.S. businesses, or over 14 million businesses in total, and account for $2.7 trillion in revenue, according to Wells Fargo research.
“We’re excited to see our Women’s Business Owner Group members get the recognition they deserve,” said Pat Soldano, President of Family Enterprise USA, and founder of The Group. “The Group’s mission is to foster collaboration among women business owners and advocate for policies that promote equity in business,” Soldano said. “This kind of recognition helps get our message out and helps further educate our lawmakers on the importance of women-owned businesses in their districts.”
